Extraordinary Location

Our current project well underway at The Prestigious and exclusive historical gated Estate known as Archerfield, named after the English bowmen who camped there in the late 13th century very close to the historic village of Dirleton, only a short distance from North Berwick in East Lothian.

Fidra island can be observed from the East Lothian coastline in the Firth of Forth – the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s masterpiece ‘Treasure Island’ a world renowned classic.

A mecca for golf

East Lothian has an abundance of golf courses all within a short drive from the Estate including the world renowned Links Championship Golf Course at Murifield. The Archerfield Estate has two world class Links Championship golf course’s designed by David Russell and to complete this beautiful country Estate setting, we believe, the Private Members Clubhouse is the finest in Scotland offering multiple facilities and membership is still available. To complete this picture of golfing paradise the Duke of Hamilton has recently agreed leasing arrangements to the famous Renaissance Club where a further 18 hole golf course is being laid out by American designer Mr Tom Doak.

East Lothian is very fortunate with its ‘micro climate’ and golf can be played virtually all year round.
